Welcome to the Canadian Active Service Force Living History Association!
Whether you are an independent re-enactor or vehicle owner or someone wanting to get into reenacting within Ontario/Quebec, we can offer you a home within CASFLHA. Our aim is to link together all serious and authentic Second World War re-enactors, in order that we can share experience, knowledge and the enjoyment of our hobby.
Most of our events are held in Eastern Ontario, where we display authentic artifacts from WW2. We also take part in authentic activities as would've been common with the Canadian army of WW2. Our events are meant to give you a full experience and full immersion of the unit you portray and of life in WW2.
We also offer very professional services for TV, Film, displays and much more. If you are a like-minded person that wants to join us and be part of our extremely high “esprit de Corps.”
Please do not hesitate to send us an email in the contact section.
About Us...
Formed in 2020, Canadian Active Service Force Living History Association or CASFLHA for short, was a concept in the making for a while. WW2 Reenactors from all over Ontario, Quebec and the US have got together to cover three local Canadian units. We started off as the 1st Canadian Parachute Battalion and this will continue to be a main focus, but we allow other impressions. This was done with the permission of the 1st Canadian Parachute Battalion Association of veterans. They wanted us to continue to wear and display their uniform and insignia, so they would not be forgotten in the future. A letter from them can be found here. We also needed to cover more local units of the Canadian 3rd division in northwest Europe and the Canadian 5th Division in North Africa and Italy campaign. Our main focus is on the 1st Canadian Parachute Battalion but, if you have something to contribute like a vehicle or display, we will find a place for you within our association.
